Roast a whole chicken or 2 full chicken breasts or 4 leg quarters. Remove the bones. Dice the meat and set aside. This will feed 8-12&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In large skillet, heat gently 1/3 cup olive oil. then sauté four sliced onions, 4 diced garlic cloves, one minced walnut sized piece of ginger, 2 stalks of celery, diced, 2 large carrot diced. When cooked, remove half and set aside. When the beans have finished soaking, pour off the remaining water. Add one half the onion mixture to the pan. Stir in 1 teaspoon of oregano and one teaspoon of basil, and cook gently for three minutes. Add one teaspoon of red wine vinegar. Add the beans and water to cover. Simmer until beans are tender, about an hour and a half. In the skillet, sauté one half of a red pepper and one half pound of sliced mushrooms and optional, one cup chopped collard greens. Add the diced chicken and the beans. Stir in 1 teaspoon of soy sauce. I, who could simultaneously, like Eli Manning throws a touchdown pass, chew gum and flip a layer cake out of a pan or an upside cake or honey buns out of their pans without blinking an eyelash, had this miserable result after painstaking effort with this fussy little teacake that is just delicious. It can also be an almond tea cake with apricot, fyi. Here it is, the strawberry tea cake before it was baked. And then the same cake after it was dropped when it was turned out of the baking pan. Well, here's what to do: serve portions in your prettiest bowls and top with thick whipping cream or vanilla ice cream. Make sure you have lots of wine with your dinner first. Not everything in our test kitchen turns out a success but at the end of the day, the dish was enjoyed by all. And it's your secret and mine. Now roll each wrapper starting at the bottom and folding the sides toward the center. Put finished egg rolls on a cookie sheet. Cover tightly  and refrigerate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The rolls can be fried now or closer to meal time. If you fry them ahead, take them out while still golden, let cool, cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to reheat, ikn a preheated oven,  at 300 for about ten minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Or fry in hot oil for about two to three minutes. Keep warm at 200 until ready to eat.
